Take a moment and breath, in then out, slowly but surely release for just a second that tension you carry heavy on your shoulders. The chest contracts then relaxes steadily now and pulse slows back down but the cold feeling doesn't quite leave. What is this frost, this numbness that bites through to the soul. Feeling less than numb, more than sober, worse off than one could tell. It seems that no light shines at all in this darkness, this purgatory like void begotten of all the warmth once known. But wait, the glare of the moonlight catches the eye of the bewildered man and steals away all vigilance, leading the man astray into the woods. He began to stumble, darkness still prevailing as he fumbled into a vast wilderness of the unknown. This pervasive black sea seemed to smother the man, his sorrows drowning out the fear as he beat his way forward.
